Family fun at Bransford Court! There'll be music from The Mad Jocks and Englishmen, a pig roast, bar, auction and raffle all in aid of St Richard's Hospice and Powick Church. Bring a picnic (no bbq's please), rugs, gazebos, tables and chairs. Gates open at 6pm with live music from 7.30. Saturday 13th September at 8.00pm, Huntingdon Hall
A startlingly intense reunion from this legendary, groundbreaking duo. All the old skills are demonstrated with a new collection of traditional songs and instrumentals. Their experienced approach to their art lacks none of the fervour of their early days, and brings a maturity born of many years living with the music that is an integral part of their beings.
Wednesday 17th September at 8.00pm, Huntingdon Hall
Accompanied by Willie Molleson on drums, Emma Smith on double bass and Phil Alexander on keyboard/piano.accordian, Eliza will showcase original material from their album 'Dreams of Breathing Underwater'. Powerful, vital and exuberant rhythms, absorbed from her travels around the globe, characterise this highly original, self-penned music.
